PATRIOTIC tunes and traditional sounds echoed around St James Church in Selby on Saturday at the annual Selby District Lions Last Night of the Proms.
Hundreds of pounds was raised for Selby District Vision – one of the local charities supported by the Lions.

Lions' president David Haigh described the performance of Shepherd Building Group as "fantastic" and said everyone had enjoyed a great night.

He added: "Although it was not as well attended as previous years, it was still a great concert.

"This is about the 15th annual concert, and we are hoping for many more triumphs in future years to come."(Proms01-03RW) Pictures: Robert White Photography
