Beer garden revamp

THE LONDESBOROUGH Arms Hotel has re-opened its beer garden after it was closed for three weeks for extensive refurbishment.
Improvements at the Market Place venue include fencing off the redundant areas, a decked seating area, new lighting and modern city centre bistro-style furniture.
Deputy manager Tom Henshaw said: "It was looking a bit tired, with old pub furniture and flagstone paving, but now it looks really good."
