STYLE, elegance and fashion will once again help raise funds for worthy causes as part of the district council chairman's charity appeal.
The annual fashion show, which takes place at Abbey Leisure Centre on October 15, will be presented by Posh Froxx and raise funds for the British Heart Foundation, Selby District DIAL and York and Selby Alzheimer’s Society, as nominated by Selby District Council chairman Coun Jude Thurlow.

Coun Thurlow said: “The show has always been a great success, and in the past it has sold out and raised a good amount of money for charity. I hope the same will be true this year.

“I’m really looking forward to what I hope will be an enjoyable evening for those attending, and would urge supporters to buy their tickets early to avoid disappointment.”

Tickets for the 7.15pm event cost £5 or £3 for over 60s, and are available from the chairman’s secretary on 01757 292002 or Hunters Health Spa in Brook Street (01757 213330).
