NOW it's even easier to share your news, views and pictures with Selby Times readers following the launch of our very own Facebook group.
Members of the popular social networking site can use our dedicated group to catch a glimpse of the week’s events and discuss news from our pages and www.selbytimes.co.uk website.

Users can get involved in, or start their own, discussions, post photos and videos to our page directly from a profile, computer or mobile phone, or leave a message on our wall. They can also submit news, pictures and letters for publication – all at the click of a mouse.

Editor and Facebook fan Chris Page said: “As the area’s tried, tested and trusted premier source of news and views, we welcome Facebook group membership as the latest and greatest way to share our ever-expanding in-paper and online community coverage with the local public, particularly interacting with younger ‘friends’, whose keen appetite for regularly updated information increasingly makes them today and tomorrow’s audience.”

Log-on to www.facebook.com, search for the Selby Times and click ‘join group’ to become a member and get involved.
