Young offenders are being encouraged to ride on the 'straight and narrow' of a rough and ready motocross circuit at Whitley as part of their rehabilitation.
And ten of them were among 85 competitors from far-flung parts of the country who descended on the village last week for the fifth meeting of the North of England Motocross Club currently using the Gale Common Motor Park as its base.
