Hoping to build on Saturday's win, the Robins were eventually denied at the death after a terrific fightback from a seemingly hopeless position in which they found themselves three goals down before half-time.
But the game was marred by an unfortunate incident at the final whistle in which a spectator is alleged to have thrown something at the visiting goalkeeper.
Club secretary Tommy Arkley said: "If this is true it is totally unacceptable and will not be tolerated. The club will eject anyone for this type of behaviour."
