A safety consultant from Rawcliffe is preparing himself for the highly dangerous Manx Grand Prix on the Isle of Man later this month – only four years after a horrific 140mph crash which he survived with the help of grass cuttings!
And Bob Farrington believes that, at 54, he could be the oldest rider on a modern machine in the event which follows the same 37-mile route used for the famous TT races.
