Sherburn soccer star Simon Walton has already made something of a Pilgrim's progress after turning out for new club Plymouth Argyle in time for the start of the season.
Shortly after signing a record £750,000 four-year deal with the Coca-Cola Championship club, the 20-year-old midfield star was in the starting line-up for their first game which saw them hold visitors Wolverhampton Wanderers to a 2-2 draw.
