SPIRITED Warriors U14s put up a much better performance against New Earswick, who just three weeks ago had recorded a resounding 58-4 victory over their hosts.
The result was still the same as the visitors won 24-18, but Selby can take great heart from their display and look forward to the rest of the season with optimism.

Kyle Barker bagged two tries and Dean Spooner one, while Kieran Shaw was accurate on kicking duties, converting all four of his efforts.

Man of the match was Danny Taylor, coaches’ choice was Bradley Williams and top tackler went to Barker.

q Selby Warriors RLFC is looking for new players for the U8s, U9s, U10s and U14s. Contact Andy Shaw on 01757 705518 for more information.
