The young Robins maintained their unbeaten record after what proved their tightest match of the season.
Owen O'Neill was notable in foiling Ponte attempts to make for goal with Josh Stapleton also worthy of note for his outstanding play.
The Robins eventually breached a strong defence when striker Kris Fawcett had a shot stopped, but it was fumbled by the keeper which allowed winger Luke Rayner to follow up for the most gentle of taps. Referee's man of the match was Niall Coulthard.
