Something must be in the air at the Selby Warriors rugby league club this month as for the second week running they racked up another cricket score – and kicker Nick Weaver announced his engagement to Lou Nightingale!
In a superb display of power and pace, Warriors scored 15 tries and ten goals. Matthew Irving and Wayne Fennell ended up with four tries apiece – Irving's second being the try of the match which saw him receive the ball from a tap penalty ten yards from his own try-line and race through a gap to dive under the posts.
