Wimbledon fever rubs off

Possibly taking their inspiration from Wimbledon fortnight, all four Cliffe tennis teams were victorious last week.
And in addition, some £500 is expected to have been raised from the annual 24-hour marathon in aid of club funds and the Breast Cancer Campaign, their chosen charity.
Held in rain-free conditions from noon on Saturday, the event was a huge success, according to club spokeswoman Jane Pemberton.
